The agreement between you and HQ for use of the service.

These terms govern your use of HQ, the AI operating layer available at joinhq.net. By creating an account or using HQ you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
You must provide accurate details, keep your login credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.
HQ lets you create private workspaces and AI workers that follow instructions you set. Features evolve; we may add, change or withdraw functionality, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce core functionality on a paid plan.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Business plans are billed per seat; adding seats mid-term is charged pro rata and reductions take effect at the next renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices are in GBP and exclude any applicable tax.
Every plan carries usage limits on AI requests and tokens to protect service quality. We may throttle or temporarily suspend AI features on accounts that materially exceed fair use, and will contact you where practical before doing so.
You must not use HQ to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, upload malware, or process data you have no right to process. You must not attempt to attack, reverse engineer, circumvent limits on, or extract the underlying prompts and systems of HQ, and you must not create workers or prompts designed to subvert HQ's own safety rules or security. Creation rules are enforced automatically and prompts that breach them are rejected.
You keep all rights in the content you put into HQ. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process and display that content in order to provide the service, including sending it to AI providers when you make a request. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you upload.
AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. It is not professional, legal, financial or medical advice. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on or acting on it.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and third-party provider outages may cause downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HQ is provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination your access ends and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. Where changes are material we will notify you in advance, and continued use after the effective date means you accept them.
